Mr Duncan and his party recently stayed at the Barcelo Montecastillo Hotel in Jerez. They really enjoying both the hotel and the golf course - they also met a few Formula 1 Drivers! Take a look at his review below - also available on Trip Advisor.

My wife and I with friends stayed at
Barcelo Montecastillo for two weeks in January/ February 2012. We were very impressed with the quality of the room we were given with a balcony overlooking the golf course. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space in the room.
The breakfasts are buffet style but very good and we noted that the staff regularly topped up the different sections so that scrambled eggs for example always looked just cooked rather than tired. In the evening the a la carte menu was expensive but a buffet was served for 25 euros and this included soup, a number of cold courses, a number of hot courses, a number of desserts and a drink (e.g wine or beer) - as there were a large number of dishes to choose from this represented quite good value. The hotel staff were first rate, being both cheerful and helpful.
The
Montecastillo golf course which we played ten times was always interesting and always a challenge. The greens compared with our home courses in England were very fast and took some getting used to. Buggies cost 39 euros which added a lot to our cost but the basic cost of the package booked through
Premier Iberian was extremely good value.
The weather was sunny every day, but we did have three days when the wind was bitterly cold - indeed we twice abandoned our round as it was too cold despite the sunshine.
